1967 is a year of unrest - wars in Asia, Africa, Latin America and the Middle East, demonstrations with bloody riots in the USA and Europe, rising unemployment in the industrialized countries. The apparent stability of the post-war order is increasingly shaken by regional conflicts and the crisis in the global economy. In the Six-Day War, Israel gets ahead of its Arab neighbors and, thanks to its superior military technology, conquers a territory that is far larger than its own country.
